JUNE 19th 2009- The opportunity for a Jesus is Lord Tour Concert, an outdoor praise and worship concert at The Granite Gorge ski area has opened. The Jesus is Lord Tour Concert is an outreach ministry of The Power Station The initial discussion was positive and the ski complex is available for The Jesus is Lord Tour concert. We will present a proposal and the ski area will determine the rental fee and insurance coverage requirements for the concert. This event will be the largest event the ministry has organized and will will require much assistance. Carol and I will visit Granite Gorge tomorrow evening around 6:30 PM to pray over the property, the venue, the musicians, the laborers and the discernment pertaining to all aspects of this opportunity. The vision of The Jesus is Lord Tour concert is to have musicians to come under the banner of Jesus to offer up their sacrifice of praise and worship. The concert will honor and glorify the name of Jesus. We ask all who attend to humble themselves to Jesus and allow The Holy Spirit to work through them. We encourage the bands to testify while praising and worshiping. We plan to have prayer teams available to serve those with needs and questions. The event will not be merchandised with tee-shirts and memorabilia. An area will be set up for musician love offerings, as well as an area for the musicians to sell their DVDs.
